Order Processing

Processing begins after the component, order details, available fitment information and payment are confirmed. Processing time varies by inventory location, component and sourcing requirements.

Any processing or delivery estimate is provided for planning purposes and is not a guaranteed shipping or arrival date. Holidays, weather, carrier schedules, inventory verification and other circumstances may affect timing.

Shipping Coverage and Methods

  • Delivery is available within the continental United States, subject to carrier service and component requirements.
  • Smaller components may ship through UPS, FedEx, USPS or another parcel carrier.
  • Engines, transmissions, axle assemblies and other large components generally ship on a pallet through a freight carrier.
  • Expedited service may be available for qualifying parcel shipments when confirmed in writing.
  • Carrier selection depends on component size, weight, inventory location and destination.

Freight Delivery Requirements

Large assemblies may require delivery to a repair shop, dealership, commercial address or freight terminal. The customer should confirm that the delivery location can safely receive the shipment.

  • A loading dock or forklift may be required for some deliveries.
  • Lift-gate, residential or limited-access service may involve additional charges.
  • The carrier may contact the recipient to arrange a delivery appointment.
  • Missed appointments, storage, reconsignment or redelivery may generate carrier fees.

Tracking and Delivery Updates

Tracking or freight information is provided when available after the carrier accepts the shipment. Carrier systems may require time to display movement. Estimated arrival dates can change while a shipment is in transit.

Shipping Charges and Address Accuracy

Shipping charges depend on the component, dimensions, weight, carrier, destination and required delivery service. The customer is responsible for providing a complete, accurate and accessible delivery address and telephone number before shipment.

Address corrections, destination changes or services requested after dispatch may cause delays and additional charges.

Inspecting Your Shipment

Inspect the shipment before accepting delivery whenever possible.

  • Note visible damage, missing items or packaging concerns on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
  • Take clear photographs of the component, pallet, packaging, labels and damage.
  • Keep the component and all original shipping materials while the matter is reviewed.
  • Do not install, modify, discard or return a visibly damaged component without instructions.
  • Contact Safari Used Auto Parts promptly because carrier claim deadlines may apply.
A signed delivery receipt without damage notation may affect the ability to pursue a carrier claim.
